The pump is lubricated by the central heating water, so when you fill the boiler again up you need to bleed this as well.

When the engineer services your boiler, they may replace the Benchmark Service Record to verify it’s in accordance with Building Regulations and meets your boilers garantee conditions.

The electrical actuator can be removed to verify for leaks etc.
So to start with with boilers I usually examine that the equipment is working before I carry out any work.
